After many years in Christchurch, I now live and work in Blueskin Bay, north of Dunedin. My studio overlooks the bay and is surrounded by native bush. The abundance and variety of native birds visiting my garden is due to the close proximity of the nearby Orokonui Ecosanctuary in Waitati. Within walking distance of my studio are a range of natural environments. A wild ocean beach with cliff faces, a tidal estuary and tracts of native bush on the surrounding hills, all providing new sources of inspiration.
